Triumph® is dedicated to producing
freshwater and saltwater boats that are "Built for Life™."
The Company uses the Roplene® roto-molded polyethylene
construction system to build dual-hull boats in one seamless
piece.
Triumph builds the World's Toughest Boats®, a
claim the company can make after developing this new way to
build strong, low-maintenance fishing boats. In its new 85,000-square-foot,
computer-controlled manufacturing facility in Durham, N.C.,
(the most advanced facility of its kind anywhere in the world),
Triumph's boat construction process uses customized convection
ovens to cast boats in one virtually indestructible piece,
using a specially formulated marine-grade polyethylene compound
powder. It's that innovation and cutting-edge technology that
has produced boats that stand up to the most rigorous commercial
use and everyday abuse.
Importantly, the Roplene system is also friendly to the environment.
There are no hazardous air pollutants or materials generated
during the manufacturing process, and both the boats and molds
are 100 percent recyclable. The cost-effective manufacturing
process also keeps prices surprisingly low.
Triumph and its Roplene construction received the National
Society of Professional Engineers' award for Best New Product
of 1998 and the North Carolina Governor's New Product Award
in 1997.
