Stratos® Boats built its first bass boat in 1984 and quickly became one of the most popular freshwater fishing boats on the market. From professional anglers like Larry Nixon to the local tournament fisherman, Stratos offers a boat to meet their expectations. Stratos models range from 17' to 21' and are 100% composite construction. These boats are handcrafted in a 279,000 square foot facility in middle Tennessee by a work force dedicated to the goal of building the best bass boat on the market.

The XL series, by veteran boat designer Alan Stinson, is a perfect blend of handling, fishability, rough water comfort and top-end speed. The deck layout has become the benchmark in bass boat design. Broad beams, wide casting decks, large rod lockers and dry storage boxes are in every Stratos boat. Foam floatation, injected in strategic areas, meets or exceeds the strictest of standards to insure the safety of fishermen.

The popular 280 and 290 Ski and Fish models will be re-introduced in January 2002 to compliment the lineup. These are very popular family-oriented boats with fishability as well as recreational attributes.
